On the 15th September, members of staff from Barretts of Aspley attended the Berkeley Homes Eastern Counties dragon boat racing event in Mote Park, Maidstone.
The event was a thoroughly enjoyable day where 18 teams raised their oars and donned their life jackets to support the Berkeley Foundation raise money for their designated charity, Ellenor.
The Berkeley Foundation was set up by the Berkeley Group in March 2011. It is a registered charity that supports young people and their communities across London and the South of England.
The Ellenor charity helps support families in Kent who are facing terminal illness and provide vital care to babies, children and adults.
Barretts of Aspley’s team captain, Sam Card, said “the whole day was great; a really good opportunity to support a valued client and their designated charity. It was excellent to have members of staff from different areas of the BOA group working together outside of the office.”
The Barretts of Aspley team consisted of 10 members of staff across various departments ranging from accounts to site managers.
Barretts of Aspley would like to thank the Berkeley Group for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to the success of the event.
