John Cohen has been awarded the "Best Support Services Apprentice" at the 2018 Berkeley Group Apprentice Awards.
It is with immense pride that we can confirm John Cohen has been awarded the Berkeley Group Apprentice Award for "The Best Support Services Apprentice" at the Berkeley Group Apprentice Awards 2018 which took place on 25th September at the brand new Bridge Theatre in London.
The awards celebrate the individuals and businesses who have gone that extra mile and demonstrated their commitment to apprenticeships. From plumbers to electricians, post-build and support services to workforce coordinators and managing directors who personally champion apprentices.
John is a Junior Project Manager who joined the BOA Academy in 2015, working towards a Level 5 Higher Apprenticeship in Sustainable Built Environment. His role at Barretts of Aspley is one of the most diverse within the company, and requires him to have a thorough understanding of the complete business.
John is working with St George on Battersea Reach, on the design, installation and commercial management of structural steelwork and architectural metalwork contracts. He works closely with the teams to make sure they have the correct information for all details, and makes sure every element is delivered on time and to specifications. John has a problem solving attitude, and is always taking ownership of his responsibilities.
